Randa initially found yoga as a way to strengthen and heal her wrist from a car accident in 2010. Before moving to Florida in 2014, and prior to being certified to teach, she organized a yoga marathon with her favorite instructors in her hometown in Jackson, Tennessee, and was able to raise money to send to typhoon victims in the Philippines. She witnessed how powerful a community can be in action, and knew she wanted to share the benefits of yoga. She is also a full time psychiatric nurse and enjoys sharing yoga as a healthy coping skill with her patients and colleagues. She enjoys the balance and creativity that yoga provides in her life. Yoga has enabled her to find her tribe, a true sense of belonging. Randa received her 200 hr certification from the Yoga Garden here in Melbourne in 2017. She currently teaches at Innovation Yoga in Satellite Beach. She teaches a beginner’s class, flow and restore, yin, and also enjoys teaching on the beach! When she’s not doing yoga or at the beach, she is always looking for adventure, either local or international, most likely doing yoga poses along the way.
