Kathy Waddell teaches in the Bay Area- she is an instructor at Stanford, for the Health Improvement Program, Rosewood Hotel Menlo Park & leads her own community classes in Portola Valley, Ca. She has a passion for encouraging and supporting others in wellness and self care. She has found yoga and mindfulness to be an integral piece to her wellbeing and loves to share the practice with others. Kathy’s yoga style is eclectic and mindful – it allows individuals to benefit and enjoy the practice regardless or their age, level or body type.
Kathy believes everyone can benefit from yoga, physically, emotionally and spiritually to support healthy aging.
Kathy trained at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara and has completed the teacher practicum in MBSR,Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Bob Stahl at El Camino Hospital. Kathy also enjoys leading Women’s Wellness Retreats in the Bay Area.
